We all know mum tells us to eat more greens, but sometimes a bowl of soggy spinach just doesn’t cut it. And don’t even get us started on brussel sprouts…! That’s why we’re in love with matcha! Pure, stone-ground green tea powder that transforms into delicious lattes, smoothie bowls & baked goods - you can even go all Shrek-like and use it as a face mask!
So what’s so great about Matcha?
Matcha has been used for centuries to enhance energy, metabolism, detoxification and immunity. If that isn’t enough to convince you of this superfood superstar, you get up to 137 times the antioxidants by consuming the entire green tea leaf, and not just brewed tea! #SignUsUp
We were lucky enough to fly down to Melbs for The Wellness Festival by Colour & Coconuts last week and catch up with Matcha Maiden herself, Sarah Holloway. Sarah is co-founder of Matcha Maiden (100% organic matcha powder) & also of Matcha Mylkbar (a drool-worthy plant-based cafe where you'll be snapping foodie shots for days!). Here’s a little insight into Sarah’s life.
