Mondays are always so chaotic, so my fave way to start the week is with a Bangin’ Brekky Wrap! I’ve always struggled with breakfast but ever since I started my weight-loss journey, it’s been the most important meal of my day, getting my metabolism working and giving me energy for the whole day! After I pump out my two water aerobics classes, I have Southern Spices Tenders with Chia Mayo for lunch!
With frosty Melbourne weather, it’s sometimes really hard to get out and move. But the good thing is, I have a home workout DVD by Charlotte Grosby that offers me a solid hour HIIT class! After my sweaty HIIT session, I was craving something light, so the Clean Chicken & Broccoli was perfect – the mild lemon pepper flavour is a fantastic touch!
It was so cold this morning, but once I got up, I went for an hour fat-burner walk – it’s all mind over matter when it comes to achieving goals!
My next goal is lose a total of 100kg by New Year’s! If I maintain my healthy lifestyle and motivation, I know I’ll get there!
I'm currently losing about two to four kg a week, depending on how hard I push myself! But at the end of the day, any weight-loss journey is about 80% food and 20% exercise.
Having the healthy portioned Youfoodz meals is a huge help to keep me motivated! My meal today was The Mac Daddy – cheesy goodness come at me! I'm a sucker for mac ‘n cheese, so this was a definite winner with broccoli and steak too!
I decided this morning I felt like doing stairs, so I went to the Cape Shank Lighthouse on the Mornington Peninsula and just went for it! It was freezing with the ocean breeze, but the views made it worth it! Burning all those calories made me super hungry, so I treated myself to Steak & Creamy Mushroom Sauce, which went down a treat!
I’ve been so motivated fitness-wise this week! It’s crazy to see how much I have changed in 12 months! I love my regular Friday water aerobics classes – the older ladies are so nice and welcoming. I can't believe I hadn’t done it sooner. I treated myself to my favourite Youfoodz meal afterwards: Beef Lasagne!
Saturdays are my busiest days for work (I run my own makeup and beauty business from home, @makeupbylaurenelise). I love expressing myself, and my clients’ personalities, through make up! However, with a busy day at work, I’m always needing something quick and easy. As I have a love for pasta, I grabbed the Nonna's Spaghetti Bolognese, which was very tasty and not too saucy. I love how the cheese comes in a separate packet too!
It’s finally Sunday! This is my family and relaxing day, also known as ‘Sunday Funday’. Today I went to my brother’s house as he’s been doing house renovations and wanted to show everyone. It looks so modern and new. The family had to laugh when I when I asked where his microwave was so I could cook my Beef Lasagne!
