2018 is @get_fit_lauren’s year to shine. She’s currently six months post op of bariatric surgery, having lost a total 75kg. Her goal was to be ‘double digits’ for her recent 30th birthday, which she hit – at 98.9kg! This goal digger isn’t done yet, and she’s back with this week’s food diary!

Monday are my busiest days so it’s always been a struggle to find the right food that’s balanced, quick, and easy. Today I have two water aerobics classes, one at 9am and the other at noon. In between classes I go home and do some work while nibbling on a snack – today’s Veg Sticks ‘n’ Dip was just what I needed to get me through to the next class. After my second session of water aerobics I'm very hungry, so I had the Creamy Chicken Carbonara, which tasted so much better than if I were to make it myself! It was creamy but not too heavy, another perfect meal to fit in with my weight-loss surgery 'diet'.
My first reaction was “I’m so white now” 😂😂 It’s just the little things in weightloss 💪🏽 I got my new license in the mail today 😱 No wonder each time I got asked for my licence I got a weird look 🙈 Im so proud of where I am today and how far I have come. My weightloss isn’t where I want to be yet, but I’m headed in the right direction💥It’s moments like this you can look back and know you’re doing an amazing job, not just physically but mentally and for you health! At the end of the day, your health is so so important❤️ I won’t be throwing my old license away, because it’s a reminder that I can do it, I just need to believe in myself!💗💗 #transformationtuesday
I had such an interesting day today. Fitting, especially because its #TransformationTuesday, and I received my new drivers licence in the mail. It’s so crazy to see how my body has transformed in such a short time! To date, I have lost nearly 80kg from August 1st 2017!
I'm so focused on my New Year's goal to lose a total of 100kg, which I'm 20kg away from! If keep up with how I'm going now, I'll reach my goal!
I couldn't say no to a Southern Spiced Tenders With Chia Mayo snack. I just wish I could have bulk chia mayo in the fridge, it's so yummy!
Today started with an fat-burning walk at 6am because I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep. It was a good start to my day, helping me stay focused on my New Year’s goal! I was lucky to have ordered two serves of the Southern Spiced Tenders With Chia Mayo so that was my lunch today too. I like to have dinner at 5pm on Wednesdays so it gives my food a good hour to digest before water aerobics at 7pm. Sometimes food becomes heavy or doesn't sit right in my stomach, but I’m lucky pasta isn’t one of them! Tonight I had the Beef Lasagne – delish!
WOW! What an exciting day! My boyfriend woke me up at 7am and said we were going for a long drive. I grabbed my YouJuice Green Machine for breakfast on the road and Thai Chicken & Stir-Fry Veg that I'll heat up at a truck stop along the way for lunch (love that feeling of knowing that I can heat up my meals on the road!). We ended up driving three hours away because HE BOUGHT ME A NEW CAR!! Even in all that excitement, I still remained focused on my food intake even though I was far from home. It’s so much better to have Youfoodz with you, rather than having fast food or even worst…nothing!
I’m still overwhelmed with yesterday’s surprise! My morning water aerobics was cancelled, but that didn't stop me – I still did laps at the pool to keep moving.
There’s not one day I don't think about my goals as not only do I want to do it for me, but to also show others that you can do anything you set your mind to!
I had the Clean Roast Pork & 3 Veg for lunch today. I’m so glad it comes with apple sauce as I’ve had other pre-packaged meals that don’t come with anything exciting!
After an exhausting last few days, what better way to wake up to a Bangin’ Brekky Wrap? It was quick and easy – the perfect way to start the weekend after a busy week! Today was all about enjoying my new car! I also tried the YouJuice The Real OJ and loved it!
Another fun #getfitlaurenmeetup 💗💗 It was soo cold but those stairs got our heart rates up and moving. We even saw a few kangaroos! Today was a big day! I organised a meet up walking event held on the Mornington Peninsula through my social media community. It was all about bringing my community together to enjoy the fresh air and connect. I had six people join, which was the perfect size as we all got to know each other pretty well. They can’t wait for the next meet up! I do this once a month, mostly on the weekend as its easier for everyone to come – I'm not too sure where the next month’s meet up will be just yet! After an epic day in the great outdoors and meeting new people, I was exhausted and couldn’t wait for a tasty meal and the Slow-cooked Lamb Shanks delivered! They were juicy and I loved the mash, peas, and gravy too!
