Go & Love Yourself!

Here at Youfoodz we’re all about LOVE, so in the middle of Valentine’s week we thought we’d share our tips to help make everyday a day to love yourself, just like Bieber insisted.

  1. Take an hour every day to do something for you. It might be meditating, reading a book, having a rose petal bath or taking multiple naps. Whatever it is, do it for you and switch the world off.





  2. Volunteer your time with a charity. What better way to spread the love than with those who need it most? This doesn’t have to be a huge commitment; it might be as simple as pledging to participate in clean up Australia day this year. If you’ve got the time and wish to volunteer with organisations like the SES, then DO IT!



  3. Try a random act of kindness every single day. How good does it feel when a stranger smiles back at you on the street? Or when you drop something at the supermarket and a stranger goes out of their way to pick it up? Make a list of all the random acts of kindness you’ve witnessed and find a way to work one into each and every day. You'll feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.




  4. Exercise every day. Do it your way - go for a run, do some yoga, roll around on the grass, do something that gets you out in the fresh air and moving that body. Endorphins are the best gift to yourself.




  5. Do the things you don’t really WANT to do but know you should. Like play golf with Dad, take Grandma to the museum like she asked last year or teach Mum how to use Microsoft Power Point….




  6. Take yourself to see a movie. There is no greater joy than not sharing popcorn with anyone else, or having to explain what just happened to someone sitting right beside you. Besides, if anyone asks, you’re there to write a review.



     
  7. Order Youfoodz every week. If you’re not dodging trollies with strangers at the grocery store, cooking while looking like a hot mess or cleaning mountains of dishes you really didn't need to use, you get ALLLL that time to spend on yourself. #Goals.
