We all need protein to slay every day. We all LOVE sweet treats. You know where we're going with this...

 

Choc-Nana Protein Smoothie

Choc-Nana Protein Smoothie

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 fresh banana, sliced
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced before freezing
  • 8 spoons of Youfoodz chocolate protein powder
  • 1 Youfoodz Paradise Bar
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup coconut water

Steps

  1. Combine coconut milk and chia seeds. Let sit for 15 minutes until the chia seeds have soaked up the milk.
  2. Scoop about two tablespoons into the bottom of a glass and place sliced bananas inside the glass. Add more chia pudding until the banana slices are covered. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours (or overnight if you're #prepping).
  3. Cut the Paradise Bar into small chunks.
  4. Blend frozen banana, protein powder, ice, coconut water, and Paradise Bar until a smooth consistency.
  5. Pour smoothie mixture over chia pudding in the glass. Optional: sprinkle with coconut flakes or chocolate flakes.

 

Breakfast Protein Parfait

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 2 spoons Youfoodz vanilla protein powder
  • ¾ cup of your fave yoghurt
  • 1 cup #quality muesli
  • Fresh raspberries, blueberries, any berries!
  • 1 Youfoodz Protein Brownie

Steps

  1. Combine protein powder and yoghurt
  2. Chop brownie into small pieces
  3. Layer protein-infused yoghurt, muesli, raspberries and blueberries, and brownie in a cup. Repeat until cup is looking full & DELISH! Optional: garnish with freshly picked mint leaves #Gourmet

 

Protein Hot Choc

Protein Hot Chocolate

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 scoops Youfoodz chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tspn cocoa powder
  • 50g good quality chocolate
  • Marshmallows
  • (all the) Nutella
  • Hazelnuts (toasted, if you're feeling #Fancy)

Steps

  1. Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat. 
  2. Add protein powder, cocoa and chocolate.
  3. Whisk until all ingredients are dissolved.
  4. Pour slowly and seductively. Top with marshmallows, dollop with Nutella, sprinkle with hazelnuts, and go to TOWN on that bad boy!

 

Protein Smoothie Bowl

Berry-Cherry Protein Smoothie Bowl

Serves 1-2

Smoothie Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen blackberries
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • Youfoodz vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut water
  • 1 Youfoodz Choc Cherry Protein Ball

Smoothie Ingredients

  • Cherries
  • Kiwifruit
  • Passionfruit
  • Granola
  • 1 Youfoodz Choc Cherry Protein Ball

Steps

  1. Blend frozen berries, 1 protein ball, protein powder, and coconut water on low setting until well combined, scraping down the sides when required to get rid of all those chunky bits.
  2. Scoop into bowl/s and get creative with desired toppings. We’ve used cherries, kiwi fruit, passionfruit, granola, and a second Choc Cherry Protein Ball!

 

Protein Ice Cream Smash

Minty Protein Ice-Cream Smash

Serves 3

Ingredients

  • 4 scoops of your fave Whey Whip protein ice-cream
  • 2 Youfoodz Youtella Protein Cookies
  • 1 pack Youfoodz Choc-Mint Protein Slice
  • Good quality melting chocolate

Steps

  1. Roughly chop cookies and mint slice into small pieces and place into mixing bowl.
  2. Add your tasty, tasty Whey Whip ice cream into a mixing bowl and stir until nicely mixed up.
  3. Melt the chocolate in microwave or on top of the stove.
  4. Scoop ice cream / cookie / slice mix into a freezer-safe tray.
  5. Drizzle with melting chocolate.
  6. Freeze for at least 1 hour before scooping into a bowl or cone.
  7. Place into freezer for at least 1 hour.
